Shipping Details

Our UPS shipping costs have been updated to reflect the 2024 shipping rates as of January 2024.

Important:  Expect delays in shipping. Please do not expect your order to ship the same day it is ordered. We continue to monitor weather patterns and will ship your order as soon as we deem appropriate. We thank you for your patience.

WE CANNOT SHIP WINE TO THE FOLLOWING STATES: AL, AR, DE, HI, IN, LA, MS, NJ, RI, UT (though your billing address can be anywhere). We cannot ship to certain areas of AK, FL, and WV. Also, WE CANNOT SHIP OUTSIDE THE U.S. If we cannot ship to your state or country, please check our where to buy page to find wine carried by local markets.

All orders received before 9:00 am PST will go out the same day, orders received after 9:00 am PST will go out the next day. We do not ship on Friday (during risk of high or low temperatures), or Saturday and Sunday.

You must be at least 21 years of age to order wine and an adult signature of at least 21 years of age is required upon delivery of wine. If you cannot be home during delivery, please consider an alternate shipping address such as your place of work where an adult can be available to sign. UPS will NOT leave the wine on your doorstep. UPS will attempt to deliver your package 3 times, if no one is home to sign for it UPS will return your wines back to our winery or if you refuse the package you will be responsible for the original shipping cost and any additional shipping fees.

UPS delivery options are Monday through Friday. No weekend deliveries. UPS cannot ship to a P.O. Box address. The address must be a street address.

Please inspect your package at the time of delivery, before you sign.
If you notice that the wine was damaged, or leaking, do not sign for it, refuse the package as damaged.  If you signed for it, and then noticed the wine was damaged, call UPS at 1-800-742-5877 and tell them your package was damaged. Keep all bottles and packing materials so that UPS can inspect the package.  Call Frey Vineyards as soon as you have contacted UPS.

Wine is a perishable commodity. Temperature extremes during summer heat waves or cold winter snaps might adversely affect the condition of your wine during shipment.  We take care to ship wine from our warehouse when weather conditions on site are acceptable, which is most of the time.  However, we cannot predict for changing conditions elsewhere. Please be aware of your climate when you order your wine. If your region's temperatures are in the 90's F. or in the high 20's F., please consider placing your order when temperatures are more favorable.  UPS is not responsible for, and will not replace, wine that is damaged by weather conditions during shipment.  Frey Vineyards will replace your wine should it be damaged by weather conditions, however you will be responsible for all shipping charges in that event. Gift Orders: You may order from anywhere (your billing address), but we can ship only to states NOT in the list above (the shipping address). If you would like us to include a handwritten gift note, please make sure to include your message in the box under "Order Notes."

*Order $150.00 or more to qualify for free UPS Ground shipping or join our Organic Wine Club and receive a 20% discount year round!

Returns & Cancellations

We will replace or refund you for any bottle of wine that is damaged, flawed, or that the customer finds unsatisfactory. We ask the customer return the unfinished portion of the original bottle for replacement. By law, we cannot accept returns of alcoholic beverages unless the product is corked, or flawed. We are also unable to accept the return of wine that was damaged due to adverse weather conditions during shipment, or wine that was ordered in error. Please send an email to info@freywine.com to arrange for the return of a corked or flawed product.

Once the wine is received we will refund your credit card account for the cost of the wine less shipping and handling. If the original shipment was damaged or flawed you will receive a full refund, including shipping and handling charges. Please contact the tasting room at 800.760.3739 for return instructions.

A 15% restocking fee will be applied to all canceled orders.
